Description

"I have never believed in going strictly by the book. My six-foot-two frame has an assortment of scars and marks that readily attest to that. It's the main reason I've never been offered a higher position on a big-draft. But, when things really go to hell, I'm always the first one to get the call. They trust me with their lives, but not their jobs."
--Adrian Tarn, Chief Security Officer, Starship Electra

This author reminds me of Alan Dean Foster and Andre Norton’s sci fi adventures. It’s fast paced and so descriptive you can see the great starships and aliens in your mind. It’s so refreshing to find good old fashioned sci fi. Wonderful discovery and you can’t beat the price! Kudos to this author and thank you!

Slow beginning lulled me enough for the plot to catch me unawares. By the time I caught up, I couldn't put it down. Left me wanting more.
  • Book #1 of the Adrian Tarn series

I have read the four books so far related to the adventures of Adrian Tarn, and what a wonderful ride it has been! It's like an action-packed movie. Love the story so far. The characters are likeable, and the banter between Tarn and R.J. is really funny. Truly enjoyable reading. Only sugestion to the author is to do some extra editing for grammar errors, but it's no big deal. They don't take away from the story. Please, keep on writing on these characters. I can't wait for the next adventure of Adrian Tarn.
  • Good first for the trilogy, good author.

I read the trilogy out of order, but it's well worth the read in any order. This author is clever, imaginative and balances well science and fiction. Again, good books.
