The Good Soldier is a masterpiece of twentieth-century fiction, an inspiration for many later, distinguished writers, including Graham Greene.

Complaining about a free book seems more than a little disingenuous, so I'll just say that the numerous typos (well over a dozen) which were at first laughable became, eventually annoying. I plowed through it because I've read the book before and merely wanted a copy for the iPad--vacation reading. But someone picking up the "The Good Soldier" for the first time may find his patience wearing thin. If you're new to this novel (and it's an amazing read) you might be better off paying for an edition less burdened with transcription errors...though I have no way of knowing if a more costly version is better.
