Two friends enjoy playing in the rain in this lyrical companion picture book to Snow Is… from award-winning author Laura Gehl and acclaimed illustrator Sonia Sánchez.
When a little girl wakes to find it raining outside, she puts on her boots and hurries out for a day of splashy, puddle-filled fun with a friend. But the real magic of a rainy day comes later when the little girl is inside where everything is cozy and dry—and a colorful surprise stretches across the sky.
